CONTEXT FOR SALES ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

As part of a highly innovative team of professionals, our SALES ACCOUNT EXECUTIVES are responsible for sales of marketing consulting, services and products custom?tailored to support the growth of our clients' businesses. They are responsible for all sales activities, from lead generation to closure, in an assigned territory/market. They are responsible for development and implementation of agreed upon Marketing Plans to meet our clients' businesses growth objectives, as well as VizPress and their own personal growth targets. They work with our sales and support teams to achieve customer satisfaction, gross revenue generation, and long?term account goals, in?line with Our Company's vision, mission and values. They are naturally motivated by a genuine and natural expression to transform a business through marketing and move people to action.

DUTIES FOR SALES ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

  • Facilitate brainstorms and the definition of turn?key marketing ideas and strategies, demonstrating a high degree of consultative and technical marketing skills
  • Effectively present ideas to clients, and motivate and engage client to action, while portraying high level of product knowledge in all marketing areas
  • Develop annual business sales plans in conjunction with Sales/Executive Manager(s), detailing activities to follow during the fiscal year, focused on meeting or exceeding sales quotas
  • Attain understanding of pricing and proposal models
  • Demonstrate high effectiveness at carrying personal and business conversations with business executives, owners and decision makers
  • Maximize all opportunities in the sales cycle, resulting in the taking of market share from larger competitors
  • Develop and maintain a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face to face cold calling on business owners, direct mail, email, and networking
  • Assist in the implementation of company marketing plans, as needed.
  • Create and conduct effective proposal presentations and RFP responses that identify prospects' business problems, the effects of the problems, and the VizPress solutions to their problems
  • Responsible for sourcing and developing client relationships and referrals
  • Responsible for identifying and building effective Centers of Influence, Network with other professionals to maximize revenue
  • Demonstrate competent ability to identify business opportunities, gather detailed business information for quoting, pricing, and presentation of solutions to identified prospects
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow?up activities within the assigned territory/market, including the use of Microsoft Outlook to maintain accurate records to maximize territory potential

QUALITIES OF A SUCCESSFUL SALES ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

  • Maintains a high level of integrity necessary to fulfill our mission and vision. INTEGRITY is the state of being the same, whole and complete and in the context of usage at VizPress, is not to be confused with morality (good or bad). Integrity is not withholding communications, being truthful always, doing work thoroughly and completely, working from a context that inspires and empowers all involved, being conscious of your choices, completing tasks as they are intended to be done, following through with your word, and being present to the impact of your choices.
  • Has great business acumen and sensibility. In the last few decades, computer software and technology have drastically changed the marketing industry.Understand the challenges our clients' are faced with, currently.
  • Is driven and has a sense of urgency. Has a need to accomplish the task at hand, sooner than expected. Has confidence, believes in own abilities and can handle rejection.
  • Cares about the person, not just the sale; effectively identifies customer needs. Is great with people and able to create relatedness with all clients. Is present, interested, and consistently has their attention on ensuring clients have the experience of being taken care of, appreciated, loved, and respected.
  • Is able to be fully in communication. Is in full partnership with, and in authentic communication with client and internal staff. Has the ability to effectively present ideas--both verbally and visually. Effectively controls interactions and doesn't cave in easily. Projects a great first impression and is energized by social interactions. Engages customer emotions, is likeable and memorable.
  • Has great problem solving abilities. Choosing just the solution for our clients, while simultaneously conveying meaning is complicated. Potential candidate needs to have strong problem solving skills and love a good challenge. Has the ability to lead the customer through a process, be organized, follow through, not get sidetracked, and know the final destination.

JOB MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years sales experience and extensive interpersonal skills
  • 2+ years experience in developing marketing solutions for businesses, or experience in similar capacity
  • 1+ years, minimum, of basic knowledge and understanding of graphic design
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
  • Willingness to travel within a local territory
  • Proven track record meeting sales quotas
  • Ability to work in a "commission only" compensation structure

TECHNOLOGY REQUIREMENTS

Following is a list of the Technology Requirements of the position:

  • E-mail (for communicating with other employees, customers, and clients)
  • Awareness and proficiency with Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter (for interacting with customers and VizPress' Page)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook
  • Use of DropBox

MEETINGS

All VizPress Staff Members/Interns are encouraged to attend a monthly staff meeting as part of his/her internship. Staff meetings are held on the last Saturday of every quarter between 9:00 and 10:30 a.m.

COMPENSATION

  • Commission only, 15% of gross sales, plus quarterly and annual bonuses based on sales and company performance.

CONTEXT FOR GRAPHIC DESIGN INTERN

The Graphic Design Intern is an artist who must create visually appealing designs that will touch, move, and inspire those who look at them. They are responsible for ensuring that our clients' businesses are properly displayed through websites, flyers, menus, press releases, advertising, murals, etc. The Web Design Intern is motivated by a genuine and natural expression, to transform a business through e-marketing... by moving people to action thru the internet.

While our business is reliably a place of solid results, it is also unmistakably a place of learning, training, and development for people, both in their role as Interns but also in all other aspects of their lives.

DUTIES FOR GRAPHIC DESIGN INTERN

  • Brainstorms and mocks up design ideas.
  • Presents ideas to Supervisors and clients.
  • Meets with clients and adjusts designs to fit their needs or taste.
  • Projects schedules.
  • Uses computer software to execute designs.
  • Works with others, such as printers, programmers, developers or other technicians), to complete the final product.
  • Builds strong relationships and creates value for their clients and for themselves.
  • Prepares weekly reports and gives the latest status of the work to Supervisor.
  • Helps with public relations, copywriting, client follow-up, and other events, as they become a priority.
  • Communicates to Supervisor or takes other appropriate actions, if there are breakdowns in communication that require authority.
  • Operates with integrity and follows all assigned tasks through to completion.

Even so, there is no substitute for artistic sensibility. Knowledge about design elements, such as color and composition, is vital for graphic designers. Artistic ability and creativity are essential.
  • Graphic Design Interns are people who are able to be fully in communication. Interns are people who are in partnership with, and in authentic communication with one another. Graphic design requires the ability to effectively present ideas--both verbally and visually. You'll need to be able to present your ideas to us and work with us to achieve the end product we desire.
  • Graphic Design Interns are great with people and are able to create relatedness with our customers and clients. They are present, interested, and consistently have their attention on ensuring clients have the experience of being taken care of, appreciated, loved, and respected.
  • Graphic Design Interns have great problem solving abilities. Graphic design is a brainteaser. Choosing just the right fonts, colors and lines to create a balanced composition, while simultaneously conveying meaning, is complicated. In order to succeed in a graphic design job, you'll need to have strong problem solving skills and love a good challenge.

TECHNOLOGY REQUIREMENTS

Following is a list of the Technology Requirements of the position:

  • E-mail (for communicating with other employees, customers, and clients)
  • Awareness and proficiency with Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter (for interacting with customers and VizPress' Page)
  • Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Mac OS Operating System (if you need to use VizPress's office computers)

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Graphic Design Interns will be required to use a computer, be in communication with VizPress staff, and complete weekly reviews with your VizPress Supervisor as required by your schools Internship course. As such, you must:

  • Be able to check email regularly and
  • Use DropBox

MEETINGS

All VizPress Staff Members/Interns are encouraged to attend a monthly staff meeting as part of his/her internship. Staff meetings are held on the last Saturday of every quarter between 9:00 and 10:30 a.m.

COMPENSATION

  • Internships are unpaid positions; however, may be worth credit hours through your college or university programs.
  • You may attend any VizPress workshop or class for free, but keep in mind that if the instructor needs help, you are required to provide assistance
  • At the end of the internship, Intern will be awarded a performance bonus, based on the successful completion of the program
